Dogwood Arts promotes and celebrates the art, culture and natural beauty of our region. Dogwood Arts has a 61 year legacy of arts advocacy, environmental stewardship, and economic impact in Knoxville. For ten years, Dogwood Arts has created a successful Art In Public Places program showcasing over 240 sculptures through downtown Knoxville. At Dogwood, we believe that public art beautifies our streetscapes, contributes to civic pride, and identifies Knoxville as a growing arts destination.
To further advance existing creative efforts in Strong Alley, we seek to connect artists with additional resources and opportunities to produce murals in the alleyway. Artists may apply for funding to cover supplies, equipment, and other needs related to the creation of new artwork.
